REGARDING 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 NEGOTIATIONS

Dear GUSD Community,
We are pleased to announce that the CSEA and District negotiations teams had a successful first meeting on May 26, 2023, regarding reopeners for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years. Both teams reached an agreement on adding and updating the language for Article VIII Employee Performance of Duties and Article XVI Hours and Overtime. The teams will reconvene negotiations on September 20, 2023, to bargain salary and health benefits increases. We are pleased to have had a very productive and successful first meeting and look forward to continuing the collegiality achieved as we continue negotiations.
