GRTA Negotiations Update
On November 3, 2025, the District and GRTA held their second negotiations bargaining session for 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 contract reopeners.
GRTA and the District engaged in productive negotiations and movement was made related to Article X (Leaves), Article XII (Class Size), Article XIII (Teacher Safety), Article XXII (Salary), Article XXII (Fringe Benefits), and Article XXIII (Extra Duties), Article IV (Association Rights), (Title VII (Teacher Evaluation), Article XIV (Teacher’s Work Year), and Article XXIV (Peer Assistance and Peer Review (PAR). Additionally, the District provided a counter proposal with an increase in salary and benefits for the 2025-2026 school year.
The District and GRTA will continue negotiations on December 1, 2025.
