REGARDING 2022-2023 NEGOTIATIONS

Dear GUSD Community,
We are pleased to announce that on July 11, 2022, the CSEA and District negotiations teams successfully concluded negotiations for a new three-year contract commencing with the 2022-2023 school year. Both teams signed a Tentative Agreement (Part Two) to revise and increase the current salary schedule by approximately 11.5% in total, with various cells receiving increases ranging from approximately 7% to 13%. The CSEA negotiations team will present the agreements to the classified unit for ratification on July 19, 2022, with the full support of their team. Thereafter, the District’s negotiations team will present the agreements to the Board of Trustees for approval on August 10, 2022, with the full support of their team.
We are very pleased to continue the collegiality achieved between the bargaining teams and look forward to commencing the 2022-2023 school year.
